Tried going to Kaihana because it was closer to home and said it was open. When I got there there were a few cars in the lot, but the door was still locked! With a quick Google search I found Tori Sake & Grill as an option for my sushi craving. I've been to quite of a few Japanese/Sushi restaurants around Seattle and back in Hawaii'i and this place did not disappoint when it came to the quality of their fish. At the recommendation of our server weI ordered the Rendezvous - 12 Sashimi, 12 Nigiri a Spicy Bluefina Tuna roll and 2 Miso Soups - EVERYTHING was delicious! Generous portions and friendly service.

I recently stumbled upon a hidden gem sushi place in Burien, and I just had to share my experience! This charming spot definitely deserves a glowing 5-star review. The sashimi I tried was incredibly fresh! The menu offers a nice variety of options, from traditional rolls to some unique specialty items. The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Despite the high quality of the food, the prices were surprisingly reasonable. This hidden gem in Burien is a must-visit for sushi lovers. With fresh sashimi, a lovely atmosphere, and excellent service, it’s a spot I’ll definitely be returning to. Don’t miss out on this delightful experience!

Me and my boyfriend have come here a few times already and everything we order hits every time! So good, so fresh and plating is always on point! It is always so worth driving down here. The atmosphere is very lively with good music, and the auntie who always takes orders is the sweetest! She is so welcoming and generous. She remembers us as regulars (even though we have come here like 3 times) and even remembered my mom and the rest of my family when we took them here for her birthday. We will always come back! This recently has been our go to spot for sushi

Oh my goodness, first time ever visiting… And I’m coming back! I had a great lunch with a coworker, and the sushi rolls are delicious. We had the Hooray, Lion King, and some other spicy salmon roll that was all wrapped in amazingness. Kevin at the restaurant took great care of us. Can’t wait to take my wife here.

We came in from the Midwest and were looking forward to getting good sushi in Seattle! This place did not disappoint. We ordered salmon otoro nigiri, 5 specialty rolls, scallops, and sake- everything was delicious! But the salmon otoro nigiri was especially amazing! The service was also amazing, and we cannot recommend this restaurant more!

The sashimi was fresh. I had the sake (ORA king) don, and it was good - the red/green onions really matched well with the fatty salmon belly. Also, the hot don rice was the perfect carb to eat the fatty salmon belly with, adding sweetness and acidity to cut through the palate. Fold a bit of Wasabi into a meaty sashimi slice, then dip a bit of it in soy sauce, and it's an explosion of flavors. I would come here again.

Talk to Kevin when you go. He can let you know how busy they are. This is one of our new favorites. I know they've been around a while, but we've started discovering Burien! The sushi here is top notch as well as other Japanese dishes. Can't rave about them enough!
